1. Drink plenty of water every day to rehydrate your skin and help in the regeneration of new skin cells. Be careful to avoid contact with your eyes as it will sting. If eye contact occurs, flush with cold water immediately. You can also try combining honey with lemon juice and leaving on your face for ten minutes as a facial treatment.
5. Another great natural product is the paste of sandal wood. This is obtained from all good health food stores. Apply the paste to your face and any part of your body. The paste will dry on your skin and can be left on for several hours, if required. Wash with clean, cool water and no soap to leave your skin brighter and smelling fresh.
6. Apply fresh tomato juice to your face and wash off after about ten to twenty minutes. You can use this treatment twice daily.
7. Take Zinc tablets daily up to a maximum 50mg dosage. Zinc has been proven to reduce the amount of Copper compounds in your skin. As Copper increases your skin’s natural ability to darken there will be less chance your skin will tan.
